Temporary Chief Mate for 50m Private

West Nautical are currently recruiting a temporary Chief Mate for 50m Private MY.

The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years within the industry working on similar sized vessels and an extensive knowledge of water sports. We are looking for someone who is proactive and capable of leading the deck department to the highest of standards. Any additional water sports qualifications would be beneficial to your application.

You will join the vessel on the 13th April in Genoa for a three week shipyard period and a handover with the current Chief Mate. From there, the vessel will head to Turkey for a four-week boss trip.

Candidates based in Europe will be prioritised due to the location of the vessel.

Male only due to cabin arrangements.

Qualifications: Chief Mate 3000gt (Cayman endorsement advantageous), STCW updated, Valid Eng 1

Itinerary: Italy/Turkey

Salary: 5500-6500€ DOE

Start Date: 13th April to join the vessel in Genoa.
