Day 2 has been a mix of education, connection and thought provocation! Here’s how it went..
We took a wrong turning and ended up at a completely different show.
Are those babies available for charter?!
Finally we made it to the seminar session in the old naval museum, where we joined the panel on a stimulating debate over the use of social media in the yachting industry
It was a pleasure to be joined by an engaging audience, and to speak alongside Tony Browne from the Porto Montenegro team. Also on the panel were entrepreneur Romy Hawatt, Damen Shipyards‘ Eel Kant and Ajka Matijevic- Managing Partner at AnD Yachting & Concierge.
The show was then officially opened – with MYBA President Fiona Maureso congratulating the whole team on a fantastically organised event. Bravo, we say!

Lunch time already?!
We joined the Porto Montenegro team and the owner of S/Y RIANA at his Lebanese restaurant in the port named Byblos; a place fit for a king!
A rather unusual interview.
We also discussed the pitfalls of materialism, why the South of France is way too pretentious, and how avocados are the way to a woman’s heart… ??? (Full interview coming soon!)
Doing a little bit of Ocean Cleanup with Marina Manager Roddy

You could honestly watch the SeaBin work it’s magic for hours. Porto Montenegro is one of 10 pilot locations to have one of these fabulous tools, which scoops up plastic and other floating rubbish from the marina water. Awesome.
And so the sun sets on another day at #MYBAPM2017…
That’s charter yacht SHERAKHAN out there in the bay, bet she wishes she was on the docks with the rest of us…!
