UK waters are rapidly growing in popularity with Superyachts, and MGMT are the agency at the forefront of the wave of recent arrivals to UK docks, having assisted several Superyachts in their operations already this season. With stunning coastlines, diverse locations, plenty of exciting activities for guests and crew alike, plus a Summer of promising weather, it’s no wonder that the UK is the new ‘It’ location for Superyachts.
MGMT remains as the only Superyacht specific agency in the UK, covering all locations. After recognising the need to cater to Superyachts during the London Olympics in 2012, MGMT has grown in success year after year, helping visiting Superyachts to make the absolute most out of their visits to UK shores. The company frequently assist vessels visiting the Thames in London, including a 100m+ yacht most recently, whilst the largest yacht they have assisted so far this year was 150m+ in length.

So far this year, three Superyachts have visited the James Watt Dock Marina in Greenock, Scotland, all attended to by MGMT, whilst several vessels have been docked at St Katherine’s Dock, London. Other cruising areas in the South Coast of England such as Falmouth and Portsmouth has had recent visits from Superyachts such as the 55m M/Y Revelry and 82m M/Y Ilona. Other popular locations that MGMT will operate in this year include the stunning Scilly Isles, and the picturesque Isles of Western Scotland.
MGMT are also committed to using local suppliers and producers in all of the areas that they operate in, and are conscious of putting the spotlight on the UK’s fantastic cruising gems. Increasingly, Superyachts are discovering the beauty of cruising in UK waters, so it’s a good idea to book berths in advance!
