A Bit About The Manufacturer

Run by third and fourth-generation Dutch shipbuilders

With a rich legacy of quality and experience, Qnautic’s roots trace back to 1935.

  • The first generation began by crafting small sailing yachts and boats for commercial shipping.
  • The second generation expanded the business, founding Minerva Shipyard in Amsterdam. This yard specialised in building and servicing commercial vessels like freighters, tankers, and special dredgers.
  • The third generation further diversified the business by trading in a wide variety of commercial vessels, including super freezer trawlers, tug boats, fast support vessels, and other special crafts, alongside their building and servicing operations.

With now four generations’ worth of knowledge in industrial shipbuilding, commercial operation, and offshore sailing, Qnautic knows how to create exceptionally high-quality tenders – like the Q39.

Q39

The boat was developed with a simple yet exacting brief: to be capable of safely transporting 12 people to and from offshore wind farms at high speeds in any and all conditions.

What Makes The Q39 The Best Of The Best

Excels in all areas

This RIB ticks off all categories:

Interestingly, the Q39 is based on a GRP monohull crew boat for offshore wind farms, which in turn builds on a basic design pioneered by the Norwegian coastguard. The boat was developed with a simple yet exacting brief: to be capable of safely transporting 12 people to and from offshore wind farms at high speeds in any and all conditions.

Due to its original design brief of servicing wind farms, transporting passengers in safety and comfort, and coping with some major sea conditions, the Q39 is perfectly suited as a chase tender for larger expedition yachts that operate in more remote and hostile environments.

The boat can also be specified with either twin or triple outboards or twin inboard diesels. Overall specifications can be selected, depending on exact requirements.
