This spring, Palma International Boat Show and Palma Superyacht Village will return to Marina Moll Vell in the centre of Palma de Mallorca from the 27th to the 30th of April, expecting to attract more attendees than ever before. The show kicks off the Mediterranean yachting season and brings an exciting networking buzz to the island of Mallorca. Even more excitingly, this year Superyacht Content will be present at the show as an Official Media Partner.

A Great Way To Start The Summer

Superyacht Content is thrilled to announce that we will be present as Official Media Partners at the Palma Superyacht Village 2023. Throughout the event we will be interviewing attendees and chatting with captains and yacht crew. We are also looking forward to getting to know some of the local and international companies in attendance.

Last year, the show attracted more than 32,000 people and gathered 276 companies within the yachting sector. The show is an important event on the yachting calendar for many within the industry, and is an excellent opportunity for networking, collaborating and exchanging ideas.

Arne Ploch, Managing Director of the Palma Superyacht Village stated that:

“The setting for PIBS is spectacular. In the heart of beautiful Palma, surrounded by amenities, luxury hotels and world-class restaurants, in the springtime sun, clients are flying in from all over Europe and further afield, it’s a really enjoyable time and a great way to start the summer”.

Exciting New Editions & Returning Favourites

This year will see the return of the ever-popular Refit & Repair area, and the shoreside exhibitors will feature both local and international companies, sponsored by new brand partner Estrella Galicia. Another exciting new addition to the show is the ‘Innovation Corner’ hosted by Yachting Ventures.

Yachting Ventures founder Gabbi Richardson comments:

“We’re delighted to offer startups the opportunity to showcase their solutions to the industry by participating in the inaugural Innovation Corner at PIBS. There’s always a real buzz at this show, and I grew up in Mallorca so the event is personally one of my favourites in the yachting calendar. It signifies the start of summer in the Mediterranean, and it is especially important because it inclusively spans all sizes of yachts and watercraft.”

Aside from all of the yachting action, foodies will also be enticed by the returning FOSH Lounge, hosted by Mallorcan chef Marc Fosh and his team, serving delicious locally inspired and sourced food and refreshments.

Lucy Wright, Head of Copy at Superyacht Content comments: “For SYC the partnership with Palma Superyacht Village is an excellent opportunity for our team to be on the ground connecting further with our audience of captains and crew. It is an event that I look forward to each year and always brings a great atmosphere to the island. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces and by covering the event we will continue to build upon our reputation as the go-to outlet for all crew related news in the industry. See you there!”
