The Italian Sea Group’s division Tecnomar has released some exciting details about the Cat 133, its new 40.7m catamaran…
Futuristic Design
According to the shipyard, the catamaran benefits from “the same visionary and futuristic design” as Tecnomar’s other catamaran, This Is It (43.5m), which focuses on the importance of energy efficiency.
70 square metres of solar panels are installed along Cat 133’s hardtop and superstructure arches to generate green, clean energy.
Exterior
Admiral Centro Stile is responsible for its design.
The stern design creates a 16-metre-wide swimming platform thanks to the positioning of the two internal wings, two hulls, as well as two foldable side doors.
Interior
Not much has been revealed about her interior, but that will be organised by Admiral Centro Stile again.
Accommodation will allow a maximum of 10 guests and 11 crew.
Engines & Speed
Four generators should allow for permanent magnet variable speed alterations. It is also expected that, powered by twin MAN V12 engines and 50kW electric bow thrusters, the Cat 133 is expected to reach:
- maximum speed of 17 knots
- cruising speed of 15 knots
